We have expressed a broad range of complex animal, parasite and viral proteins using our proprietary ExpreS2 insect cell expression system, including proteins that could not be expressed in other expression systems, such as e.g. CHO, HEK293 and BEVS. All proteins are properly folded and post-translationally modified by the S2 insect cells. We can solve a broad range of expression challenges, including glycosylation heterogeneity, and degradation of proteins as well as express e.g. heterodimers or-trimers, virus-like particles (VLPs), and increase the yield of low-expressing proteins.
We offer proteins expressed by transient transfections as well as stable cell lines. We can provide supernatant and cell pellets in as little as seven days after we obtain your transfection-ready DNA, and purified protein in six weeks. We do the design of the construct together with you in our optimised expression vectors followed by transfections, expression, and detection of the protein.
